A new wine bar, Bar Pez, has recently opened on Kevin Street Lower. The crew at Bar Pez offer up some fine wines which can be paired with their seafood-based bar menu which includes the best of Irish seafood and produce. Hot Dog Eating Contest in Dublin
Calling all big-eaters! In celebration of International Hot Dog Day, Gauchos Dog is hosting their first hot dog eating contest on Sunday 23rd July. The rules are simple: whoever eats the most hot dogs in 5 minutes wins. The winner will receive €300 and three vouchers for Gauchos. New City Centre Seafood Bar
A new seafood bar with a Spanish twist has recently opened in Dublin city centre last week. The Seafood Bar is located at 1 Blessington Street and boasts a large menu that will impress seafood-lovers. Drag Show Night at The Workman’s
The Born this Way drag show comes to the Workman’s Club on Thursday 27th of July. The main event will take place at the mainstage and will feature drag queens Kara Kalua, Coco Ri and Sofia Good while music entertainment will be provided by Zapho, Elkae & Dollface at the Cellar stage. Expect a fun filled night of lip syncs, comedy, and live music from Irish queer artists. Everyone is welcome and tickets are on sale now on Eventbrite.

New Craft Beer in Town
Sesh Beer has recently launched in Dublin and is brewing full-flavoured beers that focus on sessionability. They have released their first Sesh IPA, a hazy and juicy Session IPA with tropical fruit flavours and will soon roll out their Sesh Pilsner and Sesh Raspberry Sour. LBTQ+ Coffee Event at Outhouse Dublin
LGBTQ+Centre, Outhouse, are hosting a new event called Sapphic Social which is a coffee and chat meet-up aimed at LBTQ+ women & non-binary folk. They provide a safe and inclusive meet-up space in the Outhouse Café and people are welcome to come and connect with like-minded people and make new friends. Sapphic Social will run every Friday from 5pm – 7pm.

Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah Play Dun Laoghaire
Live on the Harbour is back the final weekend of July in Dun Laoghaire. This year’s edition boasts a strong line-up of electronic music with Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah headlining Friday and Saturday respectively. The festival will run from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th and you can expect some great acts throughout the weekend.
